In fact, the current issue (October) of Shape magazine has two GREAT workouts that incorporate fantastic lower body workouts. Leg lifts, step-ups on a bench or aerobic stepper also work great. Try different types of lunges as well. Don't rule out the pool - you can build those leg muscles fast with the resistance from the water, without putting undue strain on the tissues. It's a win-win. Pilates works well, also. It's mostly about finding what exercises you can do without compelte boredome, and what works for your body. Finally, if you have fat to lose, don't forget to get into high intensity cardio to help you along. In no time, you'll be a brick house! Stop drinking & smoking (if you do this regularly)
eat fruits & vegetables all you can (buy a food/rice steamer to make it easy on you)...(vegetables might not seem "tasty", like junk foods,, but can be as you aquire your taste to them..and are loaded with energy and nutrients)...avoid all junk food, cokes, sweets, etc...and drink water . If you eat meat ,,eat only steamed fish or chicken.
also, do an hour of walking each day at least. or some type of excercise.
* you should lose about 10 lbs per month | How do I get great legs FAST? Summer is two months away, and I really want great legs! Thanks, :D | Start working out your legs at the gym by doing squats and other various exercises. 2 months is plenty of time, but you have to be serious about your goal. Write your goal down on a piece of paper, and exercise everyday atleast 10 minutes.

You can get that by doing some basic exercises right at home...squats, lunges, and pliee's (sp?). Also, getting some cardio to burn fat so those nice, toned muscles will show through!
(And don't worry; women don't have enough testosterone to get all "bulked up" like men do, so working out, even with weights, is a great way to get an overall sexy body...not just in the legs!) | So all you girls with the great legs, what is your secret? Thanks [: | That's too much cardio without any strength training if you want to "get great legs." Great legs are achieved by a combination of strength training and good nutrition. Add in some leg training like:
- squats
- deadlifts
- lunges
- calf raises
Also look at circuit training approaches such as Crossfit (www.crossfit.com).
As for nutrition, I like the Zone diet, but in general, good nutrition means lots of lean protein, veggies and fruits as your carbs, good oils and nuts as your fats (unsaturated, of course.) Avoid starchy carbs like rice, bread, pasta, cereals, etc.
